Today I embrace the sadness,
The beauty and stillness in loss.

Today I let my heart finally break.
And acknowledge that you are gone.

That I am really alone in this moment.

The real truth is in loving you, I lost myself.
I am mourning the loss of us both.

Artists note: When I cry, I shut myself away from the world. I never call for help, or comfort. I lie alone, and let that feeling wash over me like the ocean, and I am swept away. It is a place I never ask anyone to go with me. To take this photo I had to be brave. As the tears were real.
