Inklings

What is an inkling?
It is an ink thing...
An ink what, and an ink where?
An ink here and an ink there.

A who or a thought,
Or a simply wish.
A world or a portrait created within a vase or a dish.

They are swirls of colour caught within the light.
These somethings are made for the viewers delight.

Created from water, and ink that’s all
Don’t tell them that for they think their much more.

Like the sunrise and set no two are the same,
They exist for just moments and then are washed away.

Inklings are something, be is big or small.
There life is a moment of beauty meant to touch us all.

Artists Notes:
I have researched and have yet to find a phrase for this type of art. So, I shall here by call them inklings or the act of inkling.
